not to be mean, but we already have a bunch of homebrew apps that play music, and some that play video

We might have some but this will be the best one

if you can find a way to mount and read the database of a ipod/iphone then this would be cool, otherwise the name is kinda misleading to me

just a thought.

Thats a good idea i might add the option that u connect the ipod to the wii with that usb cable it has and make it read all the stuff in it -Not Sure since it might be hard-

This will have SDHC compatibility, right?http://gbatemp.net/style_images/2/folder_editor_images/rte-list-numbered.gif

Well its the WII that has SDHC compatibility errors i think it can be fixed but not sure..

if he uses the latest lib's and modules then it should have usb2.0 and SDHC access from the get go,

mplayer pretty much does all of the proposed features aside from this supposed downloading of videos to SD/USB

how will this work? and where can you download from?

There will be included a New Channel i will create Called MVdownload (Music Video Download) it will auto run an apply that its a download that downloads videos from youtube and for music it will redirect u to playlist.com and ill download the music on mp3 or mp4 format and store them onto SD card for uses on PC and other systems.

I tried it with the Youtube channel and worked 100% and fixing the playlist one since it gave some errors

Ill update daily this topic

When im done with VMchannel ill create a Video downloading a Video and storing it on SD and playing on PC/wii

im pretty sure the iphone has a different way of dealing with music than the other ipods although if you could get a coder to make a jailbroken app for the iphone to connect to this it would be awesome, not to likely to happen tho.

Feature Request:

PowerHour/Centurion - This is a drinking game where you take a shot of beer each minute for 60/100 minutes. If you were to implement this feature it would be awesome to have it choose tracks at random, start in a random place within each track, and automatically change tracks once every minute.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_hour

To my knowledge there are no Wii apps that will do the PowerHour/Centurion yet and I would be in your debt if you make it happen!

correct me if i'm mistaken, but mplayer-CE doesn't support playlists, correct?

if this wiipod allows the user to create a playlist from files on SMB then it would be better for music than mplayer.
