I have a fully updated M3i Zero here which I use on my DSL (waiting on a DSi) and GTA runs laggy.
When cheats are off it's a little better but the lag is stil noticabel.
Anybody else with the same problem ?

When I use the same micro SD card on my daughters CycloDS it runs smooth with no lag at all, cheats on and off.

Tried this with different micro SD cards, but the problem remains.

Kingston 4GB class 4
Sandisk 4GB class 2
Very old Sandisk 2GB

Nobody plays GTA anymore ?

Hmm, GTA seems to run fine on my M3Real + DSL + Transcend Class 6 4GB.

Care to explain how this lag is triggered? Walking around doing nothing? Driving? Police chases?

I dont know about lag, but on mine it takes time for some areas to load - you'll drive into solid grey space and out of nowhere things just pop up, but it doesn't break the game and I thought it was just my SD card since its one of those low-grade cards that was thrown on the clearance rack.

The Lag is already noticabel when just walking around in somewhat crowded areas.
But when you start driving it gets worse, every few seconds theres a hickup.
And when police chases me and it gets really crowded onscreen, then the game responds very slow. (like when playing a game on your PC with way to low specs)

i played through the whole game on a class 2 sandisk card and i never had any problems with lag. maybe something is wrong with your rom.

I had major lag on my M3 Real, but it ran beautifully on my M3 Simply.
I find the odd game that lags on the Real but is fine on the Simply, it's a shame the simply only supports standard Micro SD.

I just switched micro SD cards to a class 4 Kensington, and the "lag" issue I had went away. Assuming your problem is the same as mine was, just get a faster/better sd card.
