Hacking Wiikey website up again, update coming soon

Hi Guys,

Seriously who needs an update anyway????
I have smg working 100%,i have ssbb working 100% (apart from waiting about 10 seconds with a black screen) amd i did the mp3 trick and i have no double channels.
Also even if there site was down im sure if they did release an update you would see it here or on wiinewz.
Im extremly happy with my wiikey.

The problem is the original SSBB doesn't work with wiikey...Only the backup does.And some people have trouble burning DL backups, or don't even have a DL burner.

Yeah im in the same boat, what is actually broken with the chip at the moment. The only problem i have with SSBB is having to select 480i 60hz to get it to display a 480p display in the game, but thats not a fault with the wiikey is it?

Okay, the site´s back up, but I didn´t see anywhere news of a forcoming update.

Won't comment of the fixes until tomorrow night - but it shoudl be exactly what people want.

Seems like we should be getting the update tomorrow night, from what I gather OzModChips is either beta testing the firmware or has inside knowledge.

By not commenting till tomorrow night, hes allowing the wiikey team to comment (release) the firmware first. (?)

So we shall all eagerly wait till tomorrow night.

this was the third or fourth time they left supporters hanging for weeks without an update and wondering if their chip would ever be supported again

Of course not, but this is a different case. You bought something with the intent to play "backup" copies...which it does perfectly.
If I buy a DVD player I expect it to play DVDs.
If I buy a modchip that'll allow me to play "backup" copies of games I expect it to do so...which it does.
