the Config Disc 1.3 is now available for download. USe it to enable the GC Full Regionfree feature on 1.9b firmware.

Is this mean you had to install the WIIKEY config disc 1.3 first and then install WIIKEY update to 1.9b ?
Also, I noted that there is two files included in the download which is fixsize.cmd and filechop.exe.
what are these files for?

Hmm i read the readme to innstalling the 1.9b update to the wiikey and it said something about using the filechop.exe in someway if you want to get it burned on a -R dvd which is what i have...so anyone here that knows how to use it?

Yeah same here, don't understand how to use the filechop app...but I bought my chipped wii last week so I'm a total n00b at this

...but still can one get some help?

When I try all I get is tring to read iso...error

what you wanna use is the fixsize bat file..
open a dos window and go to the right folder with the iso and fixsize
then go
fixsize bootdisc.(region).iso
this will make the iso into a propper size gc iso
burn this to a dvd
easy as pie

Some people are having problems getting the newly released Wiikey 1.3 Config disc working on their systems. We have not figured out why the config disc works for some but not others so I went ahead and made up GCOS versions for all 3 versions of the 1.3 Config disc. Hopefully this will save people 2mins if their having problems getting the 1.3 Config disc working. Just download and burn, it's all ready to go.

Doubtful, since it does everything the other chips do as well. No chip can fix the region compatibility of Wii issues people always are whining about.

i think the wiikey is the best chip now. all gamecube games boot on my pal wii without having to use gcos.
and also some other region wii games are working.

we'll have to wait for a complete new chip to get more features like 100% regionfree or wii homebrew...
