Your Drive Pins are most likely not cut.

Isn't possession of modchips illegal in the USA?

They can't prove you put it there or used it. That's why I said, don't call them and ask why you didn't get it back.theclaw said:Why in the **** would you send in the modchip!?![]()

I know, but look at the homepage.Antoligy said:I think you got off lucky.
Close call.
Did you have any crucial data on your wii?
(The real reason that it was impossible to repair, is probably bacause they couldn't remove your modchip without further damaging your wii. So they sacrificed a whole new wii unit just to make you buy games)
Nintendo used to be so kind. Now they love old people.

hey at least you got a new wii, and I'd recommend getting a D2Pro. Should be compatible with you wii.
if you need some more clarification:

I really want to get a D2CKey instead of a D2Pro
D2Ckey can be updated via DVD-R, while D2Pro needs extra add-ons to purchase.![]()
Not to mention, D2CKey is WAAY cheaper than D2Pro.
But I'm hoping for someone to tell me if its possible to get a D2CKey. If its not possible for me at all to get it, then ill go for the D2Pro.
