Hacking wii updating

So if i update my wii with 4.0 will i be safe because all i have installed onto the wii is a couple of wads backup launcher and the gcn backup launcher
so if i update am i 100% safe?

Short answer: Maybe. The backup wads won't work unless you install using waninko's updater or by installing the patched IOS60. The backup channel will continue to work as long as you have a cIOS installed and a way to load the channel.
