i'm guessing you have a cIOS installed?

if so then you need to run the cIOS downgrader 1.2 after running the IOS downgrader 1.0

Or before also works, I did the 3.3X and after that ran the IOS Downgrader 1.0 and now I have it working, yeah baby...!!!

Still been working on this for a while now...could someone pm me or tell me how to load the IOS downgrader? I have loaded it through HBC and all it does is reset the wii. As far as i know i have gotten rid of all cios that i know of, and did the update the day it came out..stupidly.

When trying to run the CIOS update, the network apparently initializes OK, then I get an "Error making http request" message (plus "Failed to allocate temp buffer for encrypted content") and it exits back to the Homebrew Channel.

Tried both Muzer's and Tona's versions. Don't have any GC memcards or controllers plugged in. Tried multiple times at different times of day over two days in case it was Nintendo's servers. Normal WiFi stuff works fine (like the Homebrew Browser). This is on a PAL Wii, by the way (32E).

I got the same error with PatchMii and similar apps in the past and never found a way to fix it, had to download the files manually instead. Any way I can manually download the files needed for the CIOS 51 fix? Thanks! (Sorry to re-post, but the other thread seems sort of quiet).

Well if you "gotten rid of all cios" then you CAN NOT use the IOS Downgrader 1.0....stupidly (sorry for this last word, but sounds funny for me

So guys, I'm a new member there.
I updated my wii to 3.3v2, and I did not modify any IOS of my Wii console.
And I noticed that when I tried to instal .wads I just got a "error ret= -2011" while installing tickets...
Until now, Is there anything that I and people who did the same thing as me to "fix" that new firmware version?

Hi there,

I'm in a bit of a pickle . . . .

Got Wii with D2Pro and a wired on/off switch.

Ran the update (3.3E) with D2Pro switched off but forgot that I had duplicate channels still in there (as I'd moved them up the far right hand end).

Tried to run SM Kart and got knocked back with 'An error has occurred. Press eject and remove the disc . . . ' etc.

Tried the duplicate channel remover V2 and that got the same knock back, although some other stuff still works fine.

Can anyone advise me what I need to do to get SM Kart running again . . . . or is it bricked ??

Cheers,

Niggly

ok just wondering if it's possible to somehow install Tona or Muzer's fixes via a disc, since i don't have a sd reader?
I have a ntsc modded Wii, and haven't downloaded the 3.3 update.
If this is possible how would one go about burning to a disc?
thanks
