You're asking if it'll work? Yea sure, just make sure to use y-cable with the hdd enclosure and not a standard usb one.

Like the guys said, make a thread in the wii u section if you need help on Wii U, you can use a HDD with y cable to store your Wii U games, but you still need a SD for Tiramisu/Aroma.
