Hacking Homebrew wii u logo's

I have installed a wii u theme but when i lauded the default theme the logo's from the custom theme are still there and even when i laud another theme the one from my first theme is still there does someone know how to fix this? It needs to be a dark color

The key is to install the theme, see that the theme installed by going to the main menu and then turning off the Wii U and turning it back on without launching anything else before turning it off and on. If you instead launch a title, one or multiple of the files may revert.

My advice for you is to just install again and follow this process.

This actually goes for anything you might change over FTP, including icons, banners, wara wara plaza, title meta data, etc.

So by "installing" you mean applying? For example applying my wii u dark theme and then turning my wii u on and off?

Edit: This worked thank you so much! (But I had to do a hard reset with that I mean holding the power button for 4 seconds)

Yeah you got it. Just do what you did there again any other time you want to apply a theme permanently, including going back to the original vanilla theme if that's ever what you desire.
