It will be one day, there's a public user land exploit for 5.4/5.5 and a private, unreleased kernel exploit for 5.5. There's also a private iosu exploit being worked on and unreleased in hope to transfer to later firmwares. Right now the focus is on 5.3.2 only because the vulnerabilities are publicly available.
This makes sense and I'm honestly not surprised that there's progress in later firmware. Good to get confirmation, though! Good thing I'm not as impatient (or ungrateful, for that matter) as some people I've seen in this thread. Respect to the devs!

Same here. I'm thinking of upgrading myself but that's only because I have an eshop code for WW:HD. Other than that I really have no reason to as I don't have any other games lol. I also need to set up vWii so that can keep me occupied. If I did upgrade I'd def get SMM though

Is anyone here actually involved into helping with the IOSU exploit for 5.3.2 and possibly above? If yes, what has been done so far? I'm just really curious about what to expect and why keeping 5.3.2 is so damn important for now.

There's not a "public userland exploit for 5.4/5.5"! Only the bug itself is public, not the exploit!

Is @FIX94 's site down?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Btw. guys is there any newer version of TCPGecko so far? I can finally, thanks to @FIX94 's site, run both exploits (kernel and gecko) without freezing my Wii U anymore but the client won't connect in any way...

About what site you saying?

No need to get angry. My wording was a bit off, but bugs evolve into exploits. I'll edit my post to reflect that.
The thing is, that I told you once or twice already and you still worded it that way!
Also: Just because I make an angry emoji, it doesn't mean I'm angry at a person I don't even know. If anything at the wording! ;)

did you know your wiiu's IP adress?
Yes, since my router has cached the MAC it's always 192.168.0.115 for now. And as I said the client does somewhat detect that the TCPGecko exploit is running. When I enter a wrong yet pingable and existing IP from my network that is not a Wii U it waits like 1 second before trying again and failing after 3 times, however when I enter the real Wii U ones it waits roughly around 5-8 seconds before making another try. So something weird is going on here...
I'm kinda sad that it won't run because I'd want to have so much fun with it :(

did you use any antivirus progamm which had a inbuild firewall or anti malware software??

Sorry, I didn't see any replies from you before at all, either way, I get the message now!

OOOOOOH AVAST YOU LITTLE B*TCH

Wow... After trying like 40 times to run TCPGecko I randomly decided to turn off Avast! AntiVirus for once and look there, it just works... Wow... Avast, I start to dislike you lately, not only because of the advertisement...

That is surely what is happening to me. I'll check that out when I'll get back on Windows, thanks for the idea.
