I was playing Zelda now asking to update 5.5.2

Not sure if this is what you're seeing, but a red X over the Download Management icon doesn't mean there is an update available, it means the WiiU can't connect to the update servers.

Not really. 10.4 U took a whole week to show up on list.

There is no 5.5.2 update. You were probably updating the game files. Not the system version.
