So after some time working on this. ften and me finally finish. Here are all of the ash files breakdown so it is easier to find what your looking for. We did this to encourage more people to start creating themes for the Wii.

That's the way TPL_viewer dumps it and just to make sure I looked at it in TPL Editor FE by HowardC and it looks the same way with the darker background. Although I agree that is odd with the darker background.

Like 56killer said we really made the list to kinda get the ball moving on custom Skins for the Wii. I will eventually make some type of chart to show where each image is located in the Wii menu, but that won't be for a bit as I have some home renovation to do before that gets done.

But do you know why the PRESS A on the health.ash can be on top of the health screen without the entire black stripe, just the text...???

I mean in healtii there is no way to do it, I tryed manually but the tpl converter doesn't support .png, wich is what everybody has told me that's what I need

^it doesn't always use png to enable transparent background. it might use bmp with selected color to be transparent.

exactly the background color of the image used must be transparent. in other words You have to play around with an image editor.

i remember someone who wanted to have the background set to black, now we're one step closer.

it uses a certain colour for transparency like the disk image its green but it has to be a certain green shade or you might end up with partual transparency this varys from image to image

Ahh..like the purple from .bmps? Uhh..a little sad...you have to make pixelated Images...damm...why can't Nintendo use .pngs

?

Or can I do it like the first way (Layer on Layer with special color (transparent))? If I look close to the Images of Nintendo, it looks like Big N done it like that...I'm confused

where can i find actual image extracted from .ash files?. i think the images already compressed/change to jpg. i seen quality loss in all the images.

. No realy, it's awesome, again so much progress in such a little time...looks like we have found nearly all Images now. Skins, we're coming!!!

Personaly, what I need to make the Images ready:

-Alpha channel Info (Color, and That thing..)
-How to make them in the special size (Byte)

Well its an Wiki, so everyone can add stuff to it. Thats the idea about it

So its 100% up to 56killer and ften, if they want to add there infos/Pictures to the wiki.

The Alpha Channel is allready in the TGA file, we would need something wich can mass extract them from tng and save them as PNG.

But that Alpha Channel thing is not needed to make own custom TPLs(since you make anyway your own one).
It would be just to complete the Wiki(to follow the idea of an Encyclopedia).
