Hacking Wii suddenly stopped reading discs except gamecube games

It started when i was playing guitar hero and ejected the disc at the end of a song. I put a another guitar hero disc in, and the game froze. I held the power button for 4 seconds and turned it back on. I tried to eject the disc but it wouldn't come out so i unplugged the wii and plugged it back in. The disc ejected but now it wont read any wii games, both backups and originals (GC work fine). Im really concerned now. Any help is appreciated.

alright i havent really done much since my wii broke. Ive just been refreshing this thread and researching the problem. I guess if no one can help me im going to get it repaired. Its really bugging me and I think im going to open it up and have a look inside right now.

try disabling wiikey and try original Wii games

It seems it has something to do with the drivechip. The only thing to do it's to desolder/cut the wires and see if your Wii reads Wii originals. Then, resolder/rewire the chip.
