I just installed this socket for PIC... i recommend everyone to do this if you plan to program your own pic... very easy to change pic when some new code (maybe region free loader) get released

My canon is borrowed so i took some pics with my crap cel cam

PS: Yeah i know... i used some thick wires but i forgot to buy thinner ones when i was at the eletronics store so this old phone wire did the trick

What's this really mean here? Have you put in your on "modchip" that you will eventually update yourself once the code is released? What are the chances that this PIC code thinger will get released online?

If you're able to create your own modchips for a small fraction of the price that retailers are charging for official modchips, would you sell them to people that requested?

Why is the electrical tape over it? Did you not have to solder it?!?

If there is a way to put a mod chip in without soldering let me know! because I just bought the Wiinja and I never solder.

No, it's just an easier method of installing the chip.

all this is is just a simple way for people to exchange modchips in the future IF its an 8pin IC cihp like that ...chances of it being an 8 pin chip is the same is...well....we will see ^^;;
