Hacking wii on standby

Right , it aint a big question really ,

Q: Does leaving the wii on standby WITH THE 3.0 FIRMWARE UPDATE AND THE WIIKEY installed really not damage your vga card because of the update that supposedly cools the system down when in standby mode??

Im dreading the dodgy graphics (the blurred colors and all)

every time i turn my danm wii off for a break i notice its in standby mode , and because i dont know weather its going to fry my vga or not i boot back up and turn standby off before i leave the wii , like i say its not a major Q. but i do need an answer , is it safe or not with the 3.0 update?

Its safe i heared. V3.0 update the system fan turns on when in standby mode. But if you really want to be safe just power it down to red.

If you hold the power button for 5 seconds when powering down the wii, it will directly go off instead of standby mode. Much easier than going and putting wiiconnect24 off everytime.
