i bought my wii in singapore
ntsc-j - it came with a wiikey already installed for
multi-region playback...

in fact i found it impossible to not find a modded
wii system - ntsc-j or ntsc-usa

strange that you have a system that needs modding...

I had bought with Mod JPN console. It was my friend's who gotten their Wii last year and it was not mod at all. Hence, trying to find ways to get it mod. Heard that in another thread about chip been soldered on the Wii Clip. It's gonna be 100USD thou.

I am not good at PCB soldering. Cabling is relatively ok. Thats why i better opt for Wii Clip

if you planning go to Jakarta, indonesia there's a place (console&gaming shop) that can install modchip (wiikey or D2ckey) under 50 sing.

SimLim has it. But the catch is.... they really push up the prices. I can't exactly remember how much but i know is expensive as compared to other countries.

Luckily i was going to Hongkong for holiday therefore i went there to buy instead.

Aint buying the console. Just want to know who can mod.

I gotten mine from SLS.

It seem like Wii Clip suits my pal. Both likely had D2C motherboard which means they can use D2C chips, right? Or WiiKey?
