Hacking Wii Manual Firmware Upgrade

I've been looking around and recently noticed the twilight hack, I haven't ever updated my wii's firmware and currently have 2.0U (assuming that is firmware version). I want to get the twilight hack up and running so I can play burned games. So I was curious if there was a way to manually upgrade to the most suitable version of firmware for the twilight hack which I assume is 3.2? Any help would be great thanks.

you could use mario kart to update to 3.1 and then use anyregion changer to update to 3.2

i believe there is also some programs called IOS downgrader or cios downgrader that you could use but i can't remember exactly mably someone else could help you better

Custom IOS Downgrader 1.2 is the one for upgrade to 3.2 once you get to 3.1 and install HBC...!!!

Are there any tutorials to use that, I'm checking out Waninkokos place where he posts on the forum but my spanish is limited and so it is slow going on reading the instructions.

I'm assuming you are recommending updating to 3.4 , then downgrading?

Well, there's basically two options:

1)Upgrade to firmware 3.4 via system update, install hbc, then downgrade to 3.2

OR

2)Get yourself a game that updates to 3.1, then cIOS Downgrader to 3.2

cIOS Downgrader is an easy app. You launch it, choose the firmware (Bestly 3.2) you want to downgrade/upgrade, then press A.

Sometimes, you are required to do a few retries.
