this is what is on the SD card that is formated in Fat 32View attachment 250333
what did I do wrong?

Your Files/Folders belongs into SD:\apps\
Your Files are on the Root of the SD Card,so the can not be read by the Homebrew Channel.

Thank you.:)

not sure what you are talking about.........
as I said in the beginning, this is all new to me and not sure what needs to be done

I downloaded the files, decompressed them copy and pasted them from the computer to an SD card

Follow this guide.

A monkey can do it.

You have to really want to brick your Wii in order to brick it.

Then, load all your games from USB. Why do you need the DVD Drive, anyway?

I bought a modded Wii from a person and I was not told the internal drive doesn't work, it gives me an ERROR message.

this guy told me that any modded Wii the drive will not work
and he would not take a return.

Is there any way to get it to work?

I am not very tech savvy but can do basic things
I am just afraid if I do something wrong I will wreck it permanently.

I am hoping someone could help

Thanks, Bar
You will need to install a new disc drive inside your Nintendo Wii and if it makes a clicking noise, that means that the error has occurred screen is about to come up.
