Yea, I modded my wii with a wiikey and accidentally updated w/ 3.0 update, and though my wii has been working, recently someone dropped my wii and though I can start up my wii, it makes strange noises when I put discs inside, both real and copied, and the games will not play, instead showing me a troubleshooting page. Does anybody have any suggestions for helping me? Just a note, but I've been able to play all of my games even though the wii has been updated, and I'm thinking of opening up my wii to take a look inside to see what happened. Thank you and all help is much appreciated.

Even for homebrew??

Thread starter probbaly best to take it to a console repairer sounds like you did some damage. from what you said it sounds like something got wacked out of place and/or the disk injection mechanism has been broken.

1. Corner the person who dropped your Wii (assuming it wasn't you)
2. Collect $350
3. Sell your nonworking Wii on craigslist for $400 (it's modded after all)
4. buy a new Wii when you can find one (not on craigslist)
