Hi.
I' am introducing WII GC-MODE DUMP2USB v1.0 by solut

With this tool you can dump GC and WII SL+DL disks via an USB-Gecko
to your PC. The 64KB Block bandwith of the FTDI-Chip is completely used during dumping.
So, I think, it's a bit faster than the other USB-Gecko dumper.

Please notice:
This tool is Wasabi compatible! Me and many other Wasabi users had the problem of dumping a whole SL-DVD.
The dumping stopped before reaching the last sectors. I coded out a workaround for this.

This tool was only tested with my WII (D2C Wasabi modded).
The console output could be nicer, but it works .

Usage:
Load the "GC_DUMP2USB.dol" via your prefered method. Once running on your WII start the PC-Dump-Tool
"PC_DUMP2USB.exe" with the Iso path as parameter.

If you want it you can get it here:
http://www.file-upload.net/download-161706...v1.0B2.rar.html

Enjoy...

UPDATE:

Changes:
*********************************************
v1.0 BETA 2
- A little nicer console output
- Dump process abort via PC key send
- Modified USB-gecko check on application start

v1.0 BETA 1
- Initial release

Sorry... but most people don't have a USBGecko, nor do I believe they'd trust software from a single post...

There was only one way to backup with the usbgeco and people
with Wasabi mod chip where having some problems with it now with this they can use the usbgecko to backup. If nintendo replaces broken and scratched disc there is no need for backup creators.

Hi.

I think if the app just could help one more guy out there it makes sense to make it public.
Nuke (www.usbgecko.com) loaded it up on his server. So, I think, the app is accepted by the right guys.
