Hacking Wii freezes when I use cheats.

Okay, so I have the latest version of cfg loader and I have the cheats I needed, however when I loaded the game, it freezes at the wii remote screen which it tells you to hold it securely and not letting it go. I did press the a button, however it didn’t work. I don’t know what I did wrong, but i’m using the Wiimmfi patched of animal crossing city folks. Let me know if you know the way to fix it.
