Hacking Wii Fit

I recently got a Wii Fit for my Wii that's got Homebrew channel installed. When I try to run the game disc through the regular options, I am told that I need to updated my Wii and that there is a chance my Wii will be disabled if I have unauthorized modifications. I never get this update need if I try to play original Zelda/Metroid DVDs.

What can I do to ensure the safety of my Wii? Is there any way for me to clean my Wii, update, then reinstall all mods?

If you are on 3.2U/E you can install Starfall and skip disc updates.

Or run the game w/ GeckOS... It'll skip the update check...
But I would install Starfall.....
