Goddammit.
I hate not having my pc... then again, the only new game I could dump is DBZ... but still... 4 more days, then I'll dump it if I have the right drive.

And this is probably a sign that within a month we will have a flash or modchip to play the goods.

The app uses the drive's debug commands so I strongly recommend using the recommended LG models. They are nearly identical to what's in the Wii console. It may work with other drives but there is no way to tell if you are getting the correct data or not.

Aren't those the drives used in the Xbox? Anyway, I know for Xbox and 360 dumps you also need to extract the security sector. Is there such a thing on the Wii?

You can basically use any dvd drive. check out this thread http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=44698

i would try it, but i dont have any wii disks

how did they dump the 7 releases for the wii? and why are that only (E) verisons?

No, it does not work with any drive. The app uses debug commands specific to the LG/Hitachi drives so all those idiots on MaxConsole are dumping nothing but junk data. That's what he gets for not crediting my site as the source.

The European versions are the only ones being released because the groups doing the dumping are headquartered in the UK. I suspect now that this app is leaked you'll be seeing dumps of North American releases soon enough.
