Hacking WII downgrader

I was able to downgrade to 3.2U from 3.3U. However, my backups still won't play anymore. Any suggestions?

Just want to confirm something real quick. Can I upgrade from 3.1U to 3.2U with this, where all of the appropriate files would be installed. Some of the things posted here confused me a bit.

I want to play MM9, and I have no DVDs that I am aware of with 3.2U.

Just install IOS37-64-v2070.wad to make MM9 work. It fixed the 'return to menu' error I had on my 3.2e wii.

Yup, but I have 3.1U. If that works with 3.1U, that would be even sweeter, no need to go to 3.2U. I'll try that when I get home since I have the same error as you.

Not sure if it will work, you were on 3.2 already. I read that this only works on 3.2.

how big is the risk of a brick when you downgrade with this to a earlier version of the system menu within the same region?

i have already downgraded my wii 2 times. once to 3.1u and once to 3.2u, both times from 3.3u.

i want to install starfall, but i must downgrade to 3.2e btw, bit strange that a new wii now days comes with 3.1 :s but i couldn't upgrade to 3.2, it just did a direct update to 3.3 which needed to be done to get into the shop channel...

that's absolutely normal. the update service always upgrades straight to the latest version. to bypass that you could use the downgrader to upgrade

that's a bit too late for that, but i hope it won't brick my wii again and that i will be able to install starfall...

Just downgrade back to 3.2 and install starfall right away. If anyone isn't running starfall with atleast the recovery menu turned on then they are just plain silly. It's free and easy to install, and it might just save your ass later.

every time i ad new hacks to my wii I feel Im adding more straws to the camel's back.

I am currently running my wii at 3.3U and am curious about downgrading to 3.2U to run starfall in order to block future updates.

first of all is this wise and second,

I also have wii gators .wad backup loader channel installed and was wondering if i revert back to 3.2u will i have to reinstall the backup loader and all nessecary files?

gator loader was a pain in the ass to install due to the patchmii confusion in the thread, If 3.2u is worth it i want to downgrade as smooth as possible
