Since MP3 seems to have blocked wii brickblocker's functionality, even results in the discs not booting, has the update partition changed/moved so that the entire process is not valid anymore? How'r you guys experiencing this with newer games (like sims (pal), eternal blue (jap), anubis2 (ntsc))?
Just restricted to MP3? Or are we back to just being able to run own-region games without having to result in the mp3 2-disc trick or risking a brick or double channels..

it's not a new protection.

Eternal blue is working with WiiBrickBlocker just fine.

MP3 has an update with two process :
- First one needed to boot the game (as Paper mario needed to write something without updating the firmware)
- Second one not needed as it's japanese firmware update witch add 2 new channels.

Other games will not require this first step each time. I think it's only an MP3 feature.
WiiBrickBlocker will still work fine with other games.
