Hacking Why no image viewer?

Why is there no image viewer available for the Wii?
I know you can show images. That's obvious. But there's nothing like you show the image, press 2 or whatever, a little menu comes up, you can choose to go to the file browser or next/last image.

The only thing that views images so far that I've seen is GeeXboX.

I think the Wii message board/Photo Channel is good enough. It seems to do that all, if I'm not mistaken. And it gets files from everywhere. The only thing I don't like about that is to send pictures from like, 2007, I have to go find it on the message board. Or repost it.

yup, the photo channel works well. Plus when i first got my wii all i done was puzzles lol

Well its great for digital cameras but it doesn't do PNGs so its pretty limited. Not that I'd use an image viewer on my Wii but as far as image viewers go the Photo Channel is a pretty bad one. Of course when you are fixed to 480 lines that is always going to be the case.
