Why do you still use the Wii U?

I haven't touched mine for about a year now. I tried out Star Fox, didn't like it and put it away again.

Three generations system (four if you count DS) it's convenient to play Gamecube and Wii with HDMI.

Many good games and awesome controller.
Super easy to jailbreak.
Best version of Zelda Windwaker and Twilight Princess in my opinion.
Can play the consoles that sonictopfan mentioned, and also many virtual console titles

A modded Wii-u pretty much gives you access to the entire Nintendo library up to the Wii-U with some concessions when it comes to N64 and NDS games. Practically an ultimate Nintendo console.

My TV doesn't have AV ports, so I use my Wii U to play Gamecube and Wii games with HDMI. Also I have BOTW and I refuse to buy the game again on Switch.

It's my go-to system for retro gaming thanks to how versatile it is after you've hacked it out. Plus so many games initially made for it play ideally on the device over how the remake or sequels played on the Switch.

I always prefer playing a game on original hardware over a PC emulator. Simple as that really if I can play a Wii U game on the Wii U I will take that any day over Cemu.

It's got a decent game library of games which could be had for very cheap, additonally games like super mario maker are much much better on the wii u compared to its nintendo switch counterpart. Only bad thing i could say about it is that the Wii U's homebrew community is rather small and its missing some killer apps such as HL1. (Man if someone was to make a Xash3d port of hl1 (or even better cs 1.6) that would be awesome.

Wii U is fun as hell if you have younger siblings, I really like Nintendo Land. I also mostly use it for its Wii mode, or emulating older console games, and also trying out all the homebrew stuff

I still play Wii games online, I run a WiimFi Discord server AND my Wii U is my emulation box.

Why not buy one of the many Wii U's from ebay or amazon?

Why support someone in our community or your local community over Amazon or eBay? Couple reasons, but I'll put this one up first:

Shipping. If I buy it locally, I can have it today instead of waiting on Amazon or eBay to deliver it unbroken. And I'm supporting someone locally instead of someone making a stupid profit on eBay. I could keep going, but I think I made my point.
