- Puck control
- Stick control
- How to ice skate while staying competitive in your movements
- How to punch the shit out of another player when the time inevitably comes

NHL is more fun to watch in the long run. I could never understand the obsession with basketball.

I like the amazing plays, the tic-tac-toe plays, and the insane goals people get in the NHL.

Actually, what you said is very untrue. How can you honestly believe basketball takes no skill. It takes different skills to play hockey, not more, just different.

Basketball is too damn simple. I just can't stand the overzealous fans who try to make it into more than it is. The best players are just the most defensive, accurate ones that have endurance and can employ strategy on at least some level. Tell me that isn't true.

You were the one who brought up how NBA sucks and that basketball takes no skill. It has nothing to do with the NBA being better than the NHL.

It was my personal view on it. To be fair, I think that football sucks pretty hard too. I don't like either of the two most popular sports in my country. I blame the fans mostly. I can't appreciate any part of the game anymore because of it. I've learned to appreciate football (soccer) and hockey more, as they aren't nearly as popular, at least where I'm at in the States.

Edit: On topic - I can't even really grow a beard. My facial hair growing skills are weak.

Basketball players get paid too much to do the following stupid things:

Screw over their own teams and whine like little bitches that they didn't get what they wanted with the teams that drafted them so they can go play in Miami.
Shoot themselves in the leg while carrying a gun in a night club.
Get arrested for illegal gun possession.


Hockey players get paid a pittance compared to basketball players and hockey players go out there and put their lives on the line and have to deal with far more post career health problems then basketball players ever would. How many basketball players have to get major surgery compared to hockey players? The injury rate is much higher in hockey and yet the hockey players get paid less. NBA players are fails when it comes to playoff beards as well, they stole that idea from the NHL anyway and have no reason to be growing them seeing as how they don't play in a freezing cold arena.
