I bought a pink 3DS and I don't have any older DSs that can update blocked flashcarts, so I'd like to buy a card that is updated to the latest FW (I don't have my 3DS with me so I don't know what FW I have on the 3DS right now). I'm thinking of getting Acekard 2i (I don't play GBA games so I don't need DSTwo).

Do I have to buy a used one? or if I ask will other places update the cart's FW to the latest for me? if so, where?

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
