Hey, first of all I hope that this is the right place to post my question. I haven´t found an answer to it somewhere else. I recently bought a used New 3DS XL and now I heard about that thing with the different screens (IPS and/or TN). So I did saome research because I was curious which screens my 3DS has. I know now that most New 3DS XLs come with TN/TN screen, some with IPS/TN and rarely some versions have IPS/IPS. Sadly I don´t have a second New 3DS XL to compare the screens and the viewing from the side didn´t give me a clear answer. But I am leaning more towards having a TN screen at the top. Then I found a thread, where someone said that you could find out whether a screen is IPS or not with that test on lagom (sadly I can`t post the link). Apparently you can see the squares 4 and beyond with the TN screen and 7 and beyond with the IPS panel. The top screen showed no surprises as I could see all the squares from 4 and beyond. So I figured that I have the most common variant (TN top/ TN bottom). But then I viewed the picture on the bottom screen and there I could see the squares 8 and beyond. (I hope the pictures and clear enough, its hard to take them in a pitch black room) I was searching for quiet a while now but I haven´t found any posts to that. Is it possible that my 3DS has a TN top panel but IPS bottom? The serial number of my 3DS is QEF105 if that helps. Thank you alot in advance :)
Kinda silly. But cool I guess. Its like painting your 2by4 wood studs in a wall, before covering with drywall.

I heard a good one at the bar last night, made me think for sec. - "If you are cold, go stand in the corner, because corners are always 90 degrees."
