doesn't make a difference 1000 or 2000 you can run homebrew through the two.

If your psp as got cfw.

I still have my Launch PSP 1000. But there is really no difference now in homebrew for the Phat or Slim, unless you have that new PSP 3000 and no Gripshift.

Get a 2000, it runs everything and is a much better build. You'll want it for the improved D-pad alone.

Well, I guess Dark_Alex's LEDA 0.2 got care of that. I'm not sure because I don't own a 2000 (got a 1000 myself).

2000 should be better. 64MB of RAM instead of 32, better D-Pad, better screen, better build.

Just be careful to get a pre-cfw'd one, as all the newer 2000s out there are not custom-firmwareable.
