Between my phat and dsi the dsi, it missing the gba slot , but I got the gameboy player for the gamecube for that. Actually never bought any games even with the free 1000 points , but i enjoy the camera even if it not the best camera around. I want the dsi xl or the ds2 if they make one.

Yup, i'm on the DS Phat train. Mine is still going strong. I hope the DSi LL has a decent feel, that'll probably (hopefully?) be my next DS purchase.

DSi > DSLite = DSPhat. I haven't used the GBA slot in a while, so I don't care about that. The DSLite was perfect when it came out. I forgot what I did with my DSPhat (I either sold it, or broke it. Breaking it is quite a stretch, though).

hmm which one huh?
lets seee.. my ds lite's L button isnt registering very well anymore and the d-pad is giving hints at not working very soon(seeing as how i have to JAM into the left direction for it to work)
DSphat forgot how much i loved the clicky buttons and is still in great condition.

ill go with the DS lite
but just know im probably using my DS phat now.
lol

Simply what it says on the tin.

With all the different DS's that are available now, I was just curious as to which you prefer. My heart will always lie with the original

Oh, and the emulator option is there just in case

What the bull crap?A emulator isn't a type of Ds model.

A combination of the Phat, Lite, and DSi.

Phat:

Durability
Buttons
GBA games didn't stick out

Lite:

Size
Screens
Stylus Placement
Kept the slot-2

DSi:

Matte Finish
Button Placement
Power/Charging/WiFi LEDs (it's small, but I like it)
DSi Ware
Main Menu Setup

How can anyone prefer an emulator? The only good thing is that you can use hq2x to make the games look a bit better, but playing on a real DS is WAY better than playing on an emulator..

DSi feels much more firm and looks of higher quality than the DS Lite. I also like the old version of DS but the screens aren't very bright. DSi looks/feels like a cheap knockoff to me so I skipped that one. The last model original DS can be hacked to use the screen brightness controls to make it as bright as a DSi screen. The only problem with the DSi was the lack of colors when I got it, but I saw someone playing it and it looked good in blue. The matte finish on blue is pretty nice too. I never find myself needing to play GBA games but if I did, I could just load them on the old one or an actual GBA system. But mine is non backlit.

DS lite forever

DSi does not have the GBA slot and that is needed for some games. Especially for Heart Gold and Soul Silver coming out in March for North American fans.

You don't need it. You can take advantage of having a GBA Slot so you can use Pal Park, but you certainly don't need it.
