ROM Hack Where to start?

Hello guys,


I have a brand new switch and I'm on 4.1.0 and im new to switch I just have a few questions and I'm hoping some one take me towards the right direction.

I want to be able to mod saves using trainers what do I need to install first? There's so much information can someone please just tell me what I need to install and where is the guide for it to be able to achieve my goal of running trainers and save backups?
