So, I am interested in developing applications for Wii U Homebrew, and I have a some questions:
1. What kind of coding language is it, or should I be using?
2. What application do I use to create the homebrew application?

Well, that's my list of questions, I hope someone can answer me, preferably a developer of Wii U Homebrew software, but if you know the basics, please tell me.

Wii U software is typically written in either C or C++, using some Wii U specific code libraries (which are being documented here).

What application do I use to create the homebrew application?
We use devkitPPC and wut to develop Wii U software, installation instructions can be found here. There are a bunch of sample projects available here which demonstrate some of the basic functionality of the Wii U and wut.

Some of the other devs are currently working on methods of making homebrew development easier, and one of these is that we have an almost-fully-functional SDL port, which allows development of games and apps using a cross-platform interface.

Development activity usually happens in #wiiu on our Discord server, you may wish to keep an eye on this channel for any future announcements.

If you need more information, feel free to contact us. Have fun!

Thank you for telling me this information, I will start learning C and C++, and get the programs required to develop the applications I want to make, thank you! :D
