Hacking What firmware?

SO I have a R4 Deluxe for DS which I am assuming is a clone considering the new wood firmware doesnt work. Currently I am just using the default stuff with occasionally YSMENU. I was wondering which firmware I should use for my DSL? It seems a lot of new games arent working on either of the 2 I have installed. Games like;

Pokemon W & B
Golden sun (The new one)
Plant vs. Zombie

I don't really know what I am doing, was just wondering If I could get some help?

Yeah use YSMenu with Retrogamefans infolib data.
