Hardware What does the Light Gun do?

Just wondering, I have resident evil 4 on Wii and thinking of getting a Light Gun or some sort. What does it do? Does it just press B or something?

well yeah, it just an attachment that presses B when you pull the trigger.

No....so you see the light gun is essentially a holster for your wii-mote so you can get that arcade feel when playing rail shooters such as RE: The Umbrella Chronicles or House of Dead 2 & 3... Never exactly understood what is wrong with just holding the wii remote, seeing as it works really well for this genre of games w/out having to buy some cheapy piece of plastic....

Umbrella Chronicles is easier to play without the lightgun frame.

I got the crossbow add on, i mainly got it though for the crossbow training. still a lot of money but i play the wii for fun even if its harder, i got a much more pleasant experience using it. i would suggest make your own Many people ive seen on the internet have working to the same effect.
