Can someone help me please? Do I need a new micro SD card?
And if my SD card is busted, how did that happen? I thought I got it from it a legit local electronics store! :(

Do you need us to hold you by the hand too ? Clearly it says your media is defective , and that 20.7 GB of data was lost. Your card is dead. Not sure what policies are for warranty in your country , in north america everything is guaranteed 1 year , in europe its 2.

Whether it's fake or genuine but dead, you're going to have to replace it either way. Bite the bullet and buy a new one. There's no way to fix defective SD cards.
