I would erase them all and then reinstall the current system menu.

they will automatically install the photo and forecast channel of your region.

Umm, no need to delete all of them. If you have a NTSC-U (US, Canada, etc...) based Wii then you are okay with what you have. Nintendo, out of the factory, ships all Wii's with the All Region (A) versions and the Region specific versions, in your case (E) for the USA and other NTSC regions except Japan, of both the Weather and News Channels. The HAKE and HALE are the NTSC-U version of the standard EULA and Region Select hidden channels respectively.

The only anomaly in your list is the HAZA Photo Channel which, as far as I can tell, only belongs on European Wiis... I would delete that channel. HAAA is the early version of the Photo Channel, the one that can play MP3's while HAYA is the updated version which can only play AAC's. You must have an early Wii made before the updated Photo Channel was released as all Wiis that came out later only had the updated channel. You can delete the old channel, but you don't need to.

Keep in mind that these channels are System Channels. I believe that they are stored in the System Memory side of things and should not apply to the "savegame" and "user channel" block count, much like IOS. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

A good resource for identifying Wii Titles is the Title Database at WiiBrew, give it a look over.

Anyone else notice the title database no longer comes up from the WiiBrew site? Maybe it's temporary. Is there a list somewhere else?

thanks

Just use BootMii and make a pre-backup of your entire NAND to your SD card, then you really can't mess anything up that you can't restore again with BootMii.

PS: Just make sure you don't delete BootMii (That would be bad!)

That's only true if you have bootmii as boot2, which is pretty uncommon.
