Hardware wet laptop

so last night it rained a lot...
unlucky me, there was water leaking from the roof and it fell exactly where i left my laptop
the laptop wasnt on since i shut it down when i went to sleep
so i woke up and without knowing tried to turn it on (wasnt wet on the outside)
nothing happens (no lights no burnt smell no smoke no fans no nothing)
mom tells me it was wet earlier
battery works since it has a button to check charge and it shows a full charge
i took the laptop apart
no corrosion marks, no water inside
it just wont turn on
im gonna let it dry till tomorrow afternoon (unplugged, no battery, etc.)
does it still have a chance to live?
