Hacking Weird game situation, patch creates duplicate game file

I just got on the latest firmware after using choi, i have the sonic olympics game which launched fine, i installed the patch and it shows the patch as a separate icon with the cloud over it, same same with mario kart

When i try and launch splatoon 2 it says an update is required and i have to download

thats usually comes from other region updates
you cant use a EUR game update on a USA base game
Cause of different titleIDs
