Wavebird controller for $20 a worthwhile deal?

Got a offer to buy a wavebird controller with receiver all in good condition for $20.

1) Is $20 significantly less then I would expect to pay on e-bidet?

2) Could I sell it for enough more it would be worth my time?

3) Should I keep it even though I NEVER play GC? (Maybe someday I will end up with a Wii?

)

4) Does anyone here want it and would compensate me for my troubles?

I already have one, so I won't buy it, but 20 dollars is a great deal! The Wavebird is a great controller, I still use it for my Wii to play games like Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Sonic Unleashed. I don't know if you can sell it for much more though...

If you don't have a Wii/GC, there isn't really a reason to keep it though...
You can definately ask more, I've seen shops that sell it at $50!

they sell for £40-£50 brand new, at least over here. so i would say buy it, even if it is just to put on ebay.

Hrm? The Wavebird *is* an official controller

I got one myself as well, mind you quite some time ago. I won't get rid of it though because they're so rare

(plus I have a perfectly good working gamecube)

Any GC controller is the best brawl. Anything is better than wiimote and nunchuck.

I wish I had a Wavebird. The only reason why I use a classic controller for Brawl is because it's similar to the GCN controllers, but wireless.

It'd be so much better for me with a Wavebird.. you should grab it.

yes buy, i brought my wavebrid for £12 in cex second hand and glad i did, they go for so much on ebay now.

Hmmm.... that actually sounds too good to be true.
"Good" condition? Make sure that the ridges on the control stick aren't worn out, as that will hamper your Smashing.
