But I was reading the patent and it looks like a bunch of BS to me, in the patent it seems like what it means by communicating that it means to two computer's playing the games communicating live at the same time with each other, which makes me feel like this patent is BS because people had already done this, even if it didn't mean the computer's communicating with each other I am pretty certain communicating via text had been done before in games. What do you guys think?

The patent system is flawed and should be removed. It's completely useless now, seeing as major corporations apply for whole patent "fields" so that any research into that field is a "patent infringement".
