Waiting for Sequels.

Discussing the fan-made Shenmue game, Shenmue: Reclaiming The Path, has me thinking about other games that never got a resolution.

What are some games that you really want a (finale) sequel to? (Spoiler tags, if you feel the need)


Bionic Commando (2009)
Ended on a cliffhanger. Unfortunately, the game was rushed. My favorite is the final boss fight, which is a QTE. The core gameplay was fun, the overall design wasn't.
What happened to Emily?!

Resident Evil Gaiden
Stinger ending. Everything seemed resolved until Leon himself drips with infected blood. Golly gee! At least the game itself was impressive for the GBC.

I hate when developers do such things. for example, in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, it seems like there is going to be a DLC for the battle frontier one day.

I understand when it is a small dev working on a small franchise. its a sort of a way to get a buzz around the game so that they can get another release one day. but Pokemon. hell na.

Don't worry once the "Switch 5 DS Pro" gets released one day. it will be a DLC for the switch online 3DS.
