Homebrew vWii essential Homebrew ?

Any must-have Homebrew for vWii ?
Maybe even WiiU?

All WiiU optical drives are equivalent to Wii's D3v2 and D4 in that they reject in hardware anything that's not an original GC*, Wii, or WiiU disc - so no movie or data disc support

* only theoretical, because they lack the mechanical parts for miniDVD support too

There were some experiments with external optical drive support but you might well rip them on a PC to MPEG-4 part 2 (Xvid) for space savings and hassle free support (MPEG-4 part 10 aka h264 is also supported by WiiMC and MPlayer CE, but it's easier to hit the complexity limits)

"Useful" is of course inherently subjective... give WiiEarth a try
