Hacking vWii error - Every ROM loads black screen

Noob here, followed the guides, and ran through everything.

I installed homebrew channel, browser, and nintendont, as well as SNES9x

Got as far as picking a ROM from the list, and as soon as I do pick the rom, it just loads a black screen and freezes

I've tried from a 2GB SD card, a 32GB SDHC, and nothing seems to work.

Looking for any assistance
