Gaming Vs brawl unlocking

i found a easy way to do Vs matches quick by setting the game to speacial brawl with the CPU being random with 1 stamnina and all you have to do is press + to win. I wanna know how many matches it takes to unlock the following

sonic-
wolf-
ganondorf-
Im at around 225-250 and i just unklocked ROB and Snake

Toon Link - 400
Wolf - 450
Ganondorf - Should have been 200 but ROB was 160 and Snake 130.

According to IGN, I'm unlocking via Subspace Emissary.

Yeah, if you play a variety of SSE, Classic and events + Multiplayer you unlock stuff randomly.

Thats how I got all the characters in Melee.
When I first got it all me and my friends did was play VS.
We got every single character and then I played through the other modes to get the other maps.

SSE can't beat 1000 VS matches of pure fun with your mates.

Counts matches versus CPUs, so having only 1 controller isn't really an issue. Not sure about online.

Seriously. That's what I did, no way would I kill 500 CPUs in a row. The thought of even doing so is... sad. Lol.

To unlock characters faster just play vs the computer and set the folowing rules:

* 1 stock
* Most speed possible
* 300%

A self-destruct counts as a match and if you lose your match its still possible to fight against the new challenger.

The better way to unlock char is in special brawl:
active stamina, flower and fast speed.
In the selection character screen, modify scenarios to random, and switch cpu energy to 1. Both characters random.

I made 3 matches per minute in this mode.
