VLC Player network stream problems.

I haven't been using this for long so I dunno if I haven't done something right yet, but when I use it to watch video streams from the internet, it has horrible times struggling to play. The video starts, and sometimes it just starts to get glitchy like a old Nintendo cartridge from 1985. The video distorts itself with grey colors and huge random pixels, and it stops a lot. My download speed for my internet is 50MBPS, and i have no problems playing videos from web browser like 4K videos from youtube. Could anyone help?

The glitching is caused by VLC trying to buffer the video. It's common. Sounds to me like either your firewall or router is choking VLC. What protocol are you streaming over? HTTP? Torrent?

Umm dunno, i get the videos from the internet, then use the network stream option to play them. EXAMPLE

So it's over HTTP. Well, like I said it's either something with your network throttling VLC or it's the server you're trying to stream from.

Okay, so suggestions? I usually don't have problems with my router or network. Is been working fine since I Bought it.

Have you tried another source just as a test? VLC can stream YouTube videos the same way. You just paste in the URL for the video. If that has issues as well then try whitelisting VLC on your firewall. If your AV doesn't have one then you can do it with the Windows firewall.

I tried your suggestion but didn't help, i also tried sources from 3 different sites. I added to the firewall list.
