Hi friends.

Can I update my Vitashell by opening Vitashell and install the latest pkg?
It shows a warning about partitions and bricking...

I tried updating eboot manually and it works, but on the bubble it still shows the old version number =/

Don't update within the running app your trying to update

I just loaded vitashell and it prompted me to install the update automatically (it creates a separate updater application).

I'm relatively new to the vita, what do you mean by "on the bubble it shows the old version number"? if I get the information for vita shell it says 2.00 and when I click the icon to launch it then it also says 2.00

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
