Hacking Vista Unable to read Flash Cart

Not using just the firmware. DSOrganize is capable of exploring and manipulating the contents of your TF card. If your reader isn't in doubt (have you tried a different one?), and you just can't get Vista to read your card (I'm still confused about the "works perfectly in DSTT" thing...you're saying that the DSTT still sees files on there?) no matter what you do, then you've most likely got a bad card.

i tried on xp too, but it didn't work.
you're right, i do have a bad reader. I have this adopter and it worked. Probably because the USB thought it was bad when i forced shut down the computer

and is there a way to not let vista think it's a bad usb?

If it's a bad USB memory card reader, it's a bad reader. There's little you can do about that other than replacing it. It's not Vista's fault you have a bad piece of hardware, and it is a bad piece of hardware: you said yourself that you tested it in XP with the same results.

Well, the reader worked perfectly until my Vista froze and I had to force shut it down. Just wished it never happened... oh well... Is DSORganize 3.2 stable or 3.11924?

3.2 tends to corrupt sd cards unexpectedly,it was never finished,use 3.1
