Hacking Virtual Console

I recently downloaded Paper Mario for this virtual console thing but I don't really understand how it works? Do I just install the wad using the wad manager and then play or what?

I just don't want to brick or mess up my Wii in some way so some help would be appreciated.

yes. installing it will add the necessary channel to your wii. then just start the game and have fun.

Wads go in the Wad folder on the SD Card.
Load of WAD Manager.
Install said Wad.
Enjoy!

Use caution with wads though. I would suggest making a NAND backup before doing any heavy Wad installing.
